About

Creating Touch Stones
The name, Touch Stones, I picked it because when I was younger my great grandmother, she had a saying about touchstones. People can be touchstones because it’s how they influence your lives.
She used to always say, “you can have touchstones in your life, people who come in and out of your life that influence you for the better”, and so I used to always tell people I worked with at the multiservice center when I would have a client that would make changes in their lives because of coming to counseling or things like that, that I was making touchstones. I was touching that person and influencing them to make positive changes in their lives.
And, so that’s why when I started the business I named it, Touch Stones, because I wanted to have it represent being that person that touched people, encouraged, influenced people to make changes in their lives for the better.

Creating Touch Stones
I chose the name, “Touch Stones,” because when I was a young girl, my great grandmother had a saying about touchstones:
“Touch Stones are people who have an impact on your life.”
She would always say, “you can have multiple touch stones, because people will come in and out of your life, changing and impacting it for the better."
Throughout my career, I would always share these and other quotes with my colleagues and clients in hopes of making a difference in their lives. The goal of these quotes was to touch them in a meaningful and heartfelt way in hopes to influence them to make positive life choices.
This is why I named this organization “Touch Stones.” It is important to remember that you can touch people by encouraging them to make positive changes in their lives for the better.
“Providing Hope One Person At a Time”
"You can have touchstones in your life, people who come in and out of your life that influence you for the better."
