Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
We are proud to announce the opening of our new VITA site. Through our partnership with the Cash Campaign of Maryland and the City of Laurel MultiService Center, we’re able to expand access to trusted tax preparation and financial education resources, so more Marylanders can build financial stability, confidence, and peace of mind during tax season and beyond.
Tax season can be stressful, especially when you’re trying to make sense of forms, deductions, and deadlines, but you don’t have to go through it alone. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at Touchstones Financial Wellness provides free, reliable tax preparation for individuals and families with moderate to low income. Whether you prefer to meet in person or online, VITA at Touchstones offers a welcoming, judgment-free environment where your questions are answered and your taxes are done with care, every step of the way
Starting this tax season, we will offer both in-person and virtual appointments to make tax preparation more convenient and accessible for everyone. While the site is new, we have experienced IRS-certified Site Coordinators and volunteers, who are ready to help you navigate through the filing season to ensure you receive all the credits and benefits you deserve, while maximizing your refund.
